Hello,

I proudly annonce the availability of the third public version of the
                             HP-HOWTO

This document may be read by everyone willing to obtain informations
on Linux and HP products. The first part is a general presentation
and gives informations linked to Linux and Free Software more generally.
The third chapter gives for every reference of HP product its support
under Linux.
 
It was realized in SGML/DocBook to allow the automatic creation of various
formats, among them :

This is the first translation in english, with no re-read by native
english speaking people, so ... :-) Help me to correct mistakes.

For those of you having a distribution supporting RPM packages,
you may install the PDF, TXT and HTML versions directly under
/usr/doc by using the following package :

RPM : http://www.medasys-digital-systems.fr/linux/HP-Howto/HP-HOWTO-EN-0.88-1.noarch.rpm

Don't hesitate to give comments on errors, missing points or
things to add. I surely have a lot to do in order to produce the 1.0 
version :-)
